　　“You asked the date of my return
　　but it’s not in sight.
　　“The rain in Bashan is swelling
　　The autumn pool tonight.
　　这是李商隐《夜雨寄北》中的前两句：“君问归期未有期，巴山夜雨涨秋池。”读来是不是很美呢?最近，香港大学客座副教授何中坚的新书《一日看尽长安花》，把许多我们所熟悉的唐诗，翻译成了文英版。何中坚说：“我一直非常喜欢唐诗，研究了很多年，出这英文译版唐诗，是想提高中国古诗词翻译质素，更想把中国珍贵的古诗词文化传播出去。”
　　曾有人说，中国古诗很难像其他国家的诗歌一样传播到世界各地，因为韵律很难翻译出来。但在这本《一日看尽长安花》中，每一首英译唐诗都是押韵的，翻译出了原著的美感。
